Mzanga Ndiwe
Terms of Use
The agreement between you and Mikacore. Last updated 7 September 2026.
These terms apply when you use Mzanga Ndiwe, an app made by Mikacore of Area 46, Lilongwe, Malawi. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
How your information is handled is set out separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
This is not an emergency service
Mzanga Ndiwe is not monitored around the clock, and nobody is guaranteed to read a message quickly. It must not be used to seek help in an emergency. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or go to your nearest hospital.
1. What Mzanga Ndiwe is
Mzanga Ndiwe is a place to find a counsellor or other professional, book a session, pay for it, and hold that session by text or voice. It also offers a private mood diary, short wellbeing check-ins around your sessions, and stories shared by other people.
We provide the platform. We do not provide the counselling. The professionals on Mzanga Ndiwe are independent practitioners, not employees of Mikacore. The advice, care and opinions they give are their own, and your session is an arrangement between you and them.
2. What it is not
- It is not a medical service and does not provide diagnosis.
- It is not a substitute for in-person care, medication, or treatment from a doctor.
- It is not an emergency or crisis service.
- The wellbeing features — the mood diary, the check-ins, the flag the app may raise with your counsellor — are prompts for a conversation, not clinical assessments.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, use the app with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. You must give accurate information about yourself, and you may not create an account in someone else’s name.
4. Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at info@chimzearts.com if you think someone else has got into it.
5. Counsellors and verification
Before a professional can appear in the directory or accept bookings, they submit their qualifications and a copy of their certificate, and a Mikacore administrator reviews it. This is a reasonable check, not a guarantee: we verify the documents we are shown. We do not supervise sessions, and we are not responsible for the professional judgement of an independent practitioner.
If you are a counsellor using Mzanga Ndiwe, you confirm that you hold the qualifications and registrations you claim, that you are entitled to practise, and that you will keep your details accurate. Changes to your credentials or pricing go through review before they take effect.
6. Booking, payment and cancellation
You send a booking request, the counsellor accepts it, and only then can it be paid for. A session unlocks once it is both confirmed and paid. Prices are set by each counsellor and shown before you book, in Malawian Kwacha.
To be completed before launch: the cancellation and refund terms — how far ahead a session can be cancelled without charge, what happens if a counsellor does not attend, and how a refund is issued — need to be set by Mikacore and stated here. Until they are, cancellations and refunds are handled case by case; contact us.
7. Sessions
A session runs as text chat or a voice call, whichever was booked. There is no ringing: both of you open the same session at the agreed time, and whoever arrives first waits. The session becomes available shortly before the start time and closes a period after it ends.
Voice calls are not recorded by us. You must not record a session yourself without the clear agreement of the other person.
8. How to behave
You agree not to:
- threaten, harass, abuse or demean anyone, whether a counsellor, another user, or our staff;
- post anything unlawful, hateful, or that identifies another person without their consent;
- impersonate anyone, or claim professional credentials you do not have;
- share what someone told you in a session, or in the stories section, outside the app;
- try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the app or its data.
Counsellors are equally bound: to keep what a client tells them confidential, to work within their competence, and to refer someone on when they need care the counsellor cannot give.
9. What you post
Reviews, testimonies and other things you publish remain yours. By posting them you allow us to display them in the app. Post a testimony anonymously and your name is hidden from other users — but your account remains recorded as the author so you can manage your own post. You are responsible for what you write, and you must not identify other people in it.
We may remove content that breaks these terms, and may suspend or close an account that does so repeatedly or seriously.
10. Availability
We work to keep the app running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change is significant, we will give notice in the app.
11. Ending it
You may stop using Mzanga Ndiwe at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we must in order to protect someone.
12. Responsibility
To the extent the law allows: we provide the app as it is; we are not responsible for the acts, omissions or professional advice of the independent counsellors on it; and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and significant changes will be notified in the app. Continuing to use Mzanga Ndiwe after a change means you accept it.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Malawi, and the courts of Malawi have jurisdiction over any dispute.
